SWINDON College Old Boys beat Swindon 37-26 in a friendly in which both sides fielded mixed club players.
Swindon started strongly, opening the scoring with a well-worked try.
College came back and applied the pressure, crossing the line through scrum half Tony Norman after a darting run. Roberts converted.
College then took control of the game, scoring a further two tries before the break through Matt McKee and Ben Robinson.
The second half saw both sides with a number of scoring opportunities, but again it was Swindon who capitalised first.
With College one score ahead, Swindon stepped up their pressure and scored a well-worked try in the corner.
College hit back immediately as lock Dave Stone supported the backs and scored under the posts.
Before Swindon managed to regain their composure, College again forced the visitors back to their own line, and a simple crash run saw captain Greig O'Brien on the score sheet.
A handling error from Swindon gave John Godsell a chance to get the ball in hand on his return from long-term injury.
Some strong and exciting rugby saw both teams cross the line one more time each before the final whistle.
