IT DOES just what it says on the side of the building rots.
Evening Advertiser picture editor Dave Evans noticed how dilapidation and vandals had created a fitting sign for the derelict former Brown Brothers site at Greenbridge.
The 1960s designed block has been deteriorating since it was abandoned around three years ago.
Boards put up to keep the vandals and squatters out were ripped down and now office blinds and curtains flutter from smashed windows.
"It looks terrible like something from Beirut," said mayor Derek Benfield. "And it is on a gateway road in to Swindon."
He pointed out that the old Crosby Doors building just up the road, was also in a bad state.
The former Spectrol Reliance site was empty for several years before work began to rebuild it.
