MELKSHAM Town will look to follow up their erby win by getting a result at home to Keynsham Town this weekend.
Nigel Tripp's men lost 3-1 when they travelled to the Somerset club midway through December.
Mickey Adams's opener for Keynsham was cancelled out before half-time by Gary Banks but second half efforts from Jason Woods and Eddie Howells condemned Melksham to defeat.
"When we played them away they beat us and we put in a poor performance overall," said Tripp. "I expect a lot better this time round and hopefully we can pick up from the result we got against Devizes.
"We didn't play particularly well on Boxing Day but the main thing was the result and hopefully we can get another win this weekend."
Keynsham are currently fifth from bottom with 18 points having lost 2-0 at home to second-placed Brislington on Boxing Day.
Melksham's win over Devizes moved them above Keynsham. Tripp's troops have a point more with both teams having played 18 games.
Melksham will not be following up a move for Devizes Town midfielder Brad Newman. Tripp had made a formal seven-day-approach for Newman, who is one of the key members of the Devizes squad, prior to Christmas.
But following the Boxing Day clashhe has decided not the pursue the player. He added: "He played against us on Friday and after that I decided he isnot what we are after.''
