FILM fans face losing the new cinema club in Westbury unless more moviegoers head through the box office.
The cinema club was set up in September to provide a monthly showing of a Hollywood blockbuster. But the most recent film, Lara Croft Tomb Raider: The Cradle Of Life, shown on Saturday, only attracted an audience of 25 and organisers are now looking at new ways to save the club.
Michelle Slade, organiser of the cinema club, said: "We have worked out we need about 80 people through the doors to break even.
"This isn't happening and we need more people to make it viable. We are also writing to businesses and councils asking for their support."
Organisers are hoping to get a bumper audience at the next showing later this month.
Viewers can catch Calendar Girls at The Laverton on Saturday, January 31, from 2pm.
Tickets can be purchased in advance for £2 from the Horse and Groom and Westbury Tourist Information Centre.
