Staff at Rialto Restaurant, Bradford on Avon, say business is booming after only a month of trading.
Alan Pettitt from Holt bought the building in St Margaret's Street in 1999 and commissioned Bath restaurant manager Adriano Carlucci to design and manage an Italian restaurant. The restaurant opened after renovation and is staffed by Italian employees.
The early days put the team through their paces with staffing and service problems to deal with but Mr Carlucci is confident he and his staff are settling in well.
He said: "I need to learn more about our neighbourhood and clients here and we are still trying to make the kitchen more flexible but these are all things that I hope will come together in time."
During renovations, two Roman carvings were discovered in the stonework.
