A RETIRED sports teacher from Trowbridge has died, aged 68.
Rosemary Bridgwater died at Dorothy House, Winsley, on Monday, after a short illness.
Born in Shropshire, Mrs Bridgwater trained as a teacher and taught PE in schools at Shropshire, Warminster and Westbury in her 23-year career.
She married Bill in 1963 at Winsley and the couple had a daughter, Jane and a grandson Austen, seven.
Her hobbies were all sporting and in retirement she became a dedicated member of Whitley Golf Club.
A service of thanksgiving will be held at Semington Cremator-ium on January 8 at 1pm.
Mrs Bridgwater's family have requested that any donations be made to Dorothy House.
