WITH just over a month to go tickets to see seven snooker greats in action at Trowbridge Civic Hall are almost sold-out.
Only back row seats are left, leaving just 80 tickets available per match.
Staff at the Civic Hall have been inundated with inquiries since the Wiltshire Times announced seven of the world's best snooker players were on their way to Wiltshire's county town as part of its 150th anniversary celebrations.
Top players Stephen Hendry, Jimmy White, Steve Davis, Marco Fu, Paul Hunter and John Higgins are among the players battling it out in the 2004 Premier Snooker League. World number one Mark Williams is also due to compete.
The league is played over four venues with the finals held in North Wales. The two-day leg in Trowbridge will be played over the weekend of February 14 and 15, with five matches in total.
Civic Hall manager Bill Austin said: "Considering there are 389 tickets per match there is very few left. Some people have not been able to get to us so we are expecting more sales in the New Year.
