AN EXHIBITION chronicling the history of two Trowbridge communities will be officially closed by a Polish dignitary later this month.
The Bristol-based Honorary Consul of the Republic of Poland will be on hand at Trowbridge Museum on January 10 to close an exhibition focusing on the town's polish community.
Poles from across the West Country have been flocking to the exhibition, which followed on from a display focusing on the town's Moroccan community.
Both exhibitions were organised as part of the south west's first diversity festival.
West Wilts MP Andrew Murrison opened the event in September, donning traditional Moroccan dress for the role.
The Lottery-funded diversity festival was geared at encouraging people to learn more about community history, art and culture.
The official closure is scheduled for 12pm but members of the public can take a last glimpse up until 5pm when the museum closes.
