New College bounced back from the disappointment of a recent league cup semi-final defeat to beat visitors Salisbury City 5-2 and maintain third place in the South West Counties League.
The opening 20 minutes were quite even but it was Salisbury who took the lead on 23 minutes following a corner and poor marking by the home defence.
It was one of the few mistakes that the Swindon side did make and Hazzard, Hay, Paprocki and skipper Dixey were solid for the remainder of the game.
On 36 minutes a through ball from the impressive Jordan King found Matt Chamberlain and he slotted home from an acute angle to level.
A minute later and the home side were in front when Dixey fired in an unstoppable 25-yard effort following good work by Chris Flanagan, who produced one of his most influential displays of the season.
After the interval New College dominated the game and increased their lead on 59 minutes when Paprocki collected a ball on the edge of the box and volleyed home into the roof of the net.
The College side piled on the pressure and were further rewarded when King met an excellent cross by Dixey and his powerful header gave the keeper no chance.
Following close efforts from John Edmonds, Flanagan and Mark Chatwin it was no surprise to see another goal and, on 79 minutes, King scored his second of the match to cap a fine individual performance by crashing in a 20-yard shot from the edge of the box.
Salisbury netted a second consolation goal in the 88th minute, in what was their first effort on target in the second half.
