Wootton Bassett, in desperate need of Premier Division points, visit Bishops Cleeve and it would be a great start to the New Year for Pete Yeardley's outfit if they come away with a result.

The Bassett boss has got a full squad to choose from with Rich Stevens back in goal and midfielder Mark Vaughan also available.

"I think our only absentee is Paul Davis who is injured, apart from that we should be at full strength," said Yeardley. "We will be taking a positive approach and we seem to save our better efforts for the stronger sides, so we are hoping for a result. A good performance will be just the spur needed for our Wiltshire Cup tie against Pewsey Vale next Tuesday."

Fairford Town travel to North Leigh, who are a place above them in the table, and boss Mark Webb is hopeful he will be able to field a strong side.

"We will be without our two central defenders, Lee Kilfoyle and Simon Gregory, so perhaps Neil Matthews will be drafted in as a makeshift defender.

"Simon Gregory who was taken to hospital in the last couple of minutes of the game against Henley last week was discharged in midweek after being diagnosed with a chipped vertebrae and is waiting on a specialist report."

Division One West leaders Purton are at home to Winterbourne and manager Alan Clarke will be telling his side to expect a hard game.

"They are a difficult side to beat but we should be at full strength," said the Purton boss.

"Eurshall Fearon, Chris Lang, Toby Fowler and keeper Mark Ayres are all available, together with new signing from Supermarine Kenny Hawkins who played his first game for us last week and came off the bench to score. So we have got a good squad to choose from.

Malmesbury Vics, at the other end of the table, travel to Cheltenham Saracens and could well pick up a point if they are at full strength.
