YOUNGSTERS did their bit to help stamp out child cruelty with a fundraising Christmas concert for the NSPCC.
Pupils from King William Street Primary School performed Jesus's Christmas Party at Christ Church, Old Town.
And choirs from Crowdys Hill and Holy Family RC Primary led the carols while students from the Judith Hockaday School of Dance and Drama performed readings and poems.
"It really was a case of children helping other children," said Sue Hooper, chairwoman of the Swindon branch of the NSPCC.
The event raised a total of £620, which included a donation from the Rotary Club of Swindon in Thamesdown.
