BORED young people in Park South are being invited to attend a new youth club.
The Purple Caf opened in November, but has so far only attracted a small number of visitors.
The club, which runs on Friday evenings at Park South Community Centre in Cranmore Avenue, has a pool table, computer games, skate ramps and karaoke.
The club was started by the Rev Jim Allmark, of Park South's Lakeside Christian Fellowship.
He said: "Some nights we have had more than 20 youngsters, but we have a regular core of around 12.
"I started the club because there was nothing for youngsters to do in the evenings."
The club meets between 8pm and 10pm and is open to people aged between 11 and 18.
More details are available from Rev Allmark on 01793 704768.
