SPECIALIST search and rescue officers from Wiltshire police have joined detectives from other forces in the hunt for a woman who has gone missing from her Berkshire home.
Sheila Chandler, 69, was last seen in Calcot at 2.30pm on Friday and police said there are concerns for her welfare due to health issues.
Officers from Wiltshire have teamed up with the Thames Valley, Berkshire, Buckinghamshire, Hampshire and Sussex police and yesterday continued their search in Pangbourne, Berkshire.
Mrs Chandler is white with grey shoulder-length hair, 5ft 3ins and slim.
She wears glasses and was last seen wearing a purple all-weather waterproof coat, black corduroy leggings and a fawn-coloured jersey.
PC Dave Ebsworth said: "I would urge anyone who sees a woman answering this description to contact police. Also people can help search by simply checking their gardens and sheds."
Anyone with information is asked to call the Police Inquiry Centre on 08458 505505.
