A MAN whose failure to attend court before Christmas sparked a manhunt in Swindon has handed himself in to police.
Officers launched an appeal for information on Micah Brissett, 22.
He had left the Gloucester area where he was waiting trial for possession of heroin with intent to supply and possessing an illegal 8mm gun. Officers believed he may have been in the Wiltshire area.
Brissett, 28, of Kingsholm Road, Gloucester, has now been charged with failing to attend court.
He appeared at Gloucester Crown Court on Friday and was remanded into custody. He is due to appear at the court again this week.
