A Christmas carol concert at the Cause arts centre raised £140 for the Chippenham Twinning Association. More than 70 members of the public and members of the twinning association attended.
The programme included solos by Karin Meek, with John Iles playing the new grand piano.
"Everyone entered into the spirit of the event and sang the carols with enthusiasm," said Richard Meek.
"We have received a number of very nice compliments concerning the evening and many people have asked for the event to be repeated again next year something, all being well, Karin plans to do."
A cheque for £140 was handed to the twinning association to help support its aims of promoting and fostering friendship and understanding between the people of Chippenham and those of La Fleche in France and Friedberg in Germany.
