Stunning images of Wiltshire's landscape feature in a new on-line calendar available free from the county's heritage website.
The calendar can be downloaded from www.wowheritage.org.uk, creating a guide to Wiltshire's countryside and built environment over the coming year.
The first image, for January 2004, features Caen Hill Locks on the Kennet and Avon Canal near Devizes.
The 16 locks making up the Caen Hill flight are one of the best-known and most impressive aspects of the Kennet and Avon Canal.
A different image will be available each month, and a wide variety of scenes from across the county will be used.
Future images under consideration for inclusion on the calendar include the Tithe Barn at Bradford-on-Avon, Avebury stones and Salisbury Cathedral.
The WOW website - which is run by Wiltshire County Council and funded by the New Opportunities Fund enables visitors to find out about Wiltshire's heritage by going to the 'Discover' pages and searching by theme or keyword. The eight themes available are Archives for All, Wiltshire Buildings, Wiltshire's Museums, Windows to the Past (photography), Wiltshire Archaeology, Art of Wiltshire, Open Book (local history) and Wiltshire's Nature.
Users of the website can connect to partner web pages to find more information for each theme.
Using the WOW website as a portal, they can access a vast range of useful information and expertise on the various aspects of the county's heritage.
The project involves a total of 19 partner organisations.
Kate Turnbull, Window on Wiltshire's Heritage project officer, said: "Wiltshire is famous over the world for the beauty of its countryside and the richness of its heritage."
