RINGWOOD Town return-ed to league action after two successive postponements and Darren Broad scored twice to help them record a 3-0 victory over Locks Heath at Long Lane.
Darren Broad scored the opener with a cross-shot from Dan Greaves' through ball on 55 minutes. Jason Lovell beat the 'keeper to a Greaves cross for the second.
Broad converted his second from Lovell's pullback on 80 minutes, with the midfielder then trebling his tally for the season in this match.
Town boss Bob Lane said: "It was a good second half performance.
"We started slowly because of a lack of games recently. That has allowed us to get players fit.
"In the first half of the season some of the team couldn't always get away from work in time to play for us."
League leaders VTFC are the visitors on Satur-day, before Town play the second leg of their Floodlit Cup quarter-final at Fawley on Wednesday. Ringwood go into the tie with a 3-2 lead.
