MODEL aircraft enthusiasts were expected to be given permission to continue flying planes near Brixton Deverill last night.
The Lords Hill Model Flying Club has applied to West Wiltshire District Council to continue using land at Summerslade Down.
The club has now reached an agreement with Upper Deverill parish council, removing previous objections to the proposal.
The council has received 10 letters of objection from people living nearby but planning officers have recommended that a three-year temporary licence be granted.
