AN insight into the history of the Wiltshire Times can be seen as part of Trowbridge Museum's latest exhibition.
From the origins of printing in ancient China to the local printers and newspapers of today, the museum will give visitors the rare chance of witnessing the birth and lifespan of the printed word.
Included in the display, starting on January 17, will be a section on the 150-year history of the Wiltshire Times, which used to be printed in the county town.
Visitors will be able to examine examples of printers work, copper engravings of Wiltshire scenes and tackle old typewriters.
Admission to the Shires-based museum is free.
