A pavilion for 200 budding Beckhams in Highworth is on course to be completed next month.
Currently, players at Highworth Junior Football Club are changing in a run-down portable building or in their parents' cars.
The £580,000 pavilion is being built at the club's ground near Highworth Golf Course.
Most of the funding came from a £478,000 Football Foundation grant.
The club, which caters for children between six and 12, raised the rest of the cash from fundraising and other grants.
The last piece in the funding jigsaw fell into place this week when the club received a £17,000 grant through the landfill tax credit scheme.
The money has been awarded by Biffa Waste Services.
Under the tax credit scheme, waste operators can give money paid in landfill duty to community projects.
As well as changing rooms with toilets and showers, the complex will also feature a coaching room, two administration offices and a kitchen.
In addition, there will be a covered area for spectators.
When it is finished, the centre will available to other community groups.
Club chairman Barnard Berry said: "We are very grateful to Biffa for providing the extra funding."
