PARENTS are invited to take their babies to a Discovery Afternoon to get professional advice on a range of issues.
Health visitors from Abbey Meads, Haydon Wick, and Taw Hill will be at the Abbey Meads surgery in Elstree Way on Thursday, January 22, from 2pm to 4pm.
Parents will be able to ask for advice on fire safety, accident prevention, road safety, fitting car seats, reading with children, and how to fit the right shoes for growing feet.
There will also be an opportunity to learn about some of the range of activities available in Swindon to children aged six to nine months old.
Each baby attending will receive baby books and parents can discuss issues about their child's health as well as their own.
