Swindon Primary Schools were knocked out of the Southern Counties Cup when they lost 3-0 at Southampton.
The visitors started brightly and Thompson shot just wide through a crowded area but Southampton weathered the storm and went ahead midway through the first half.
A cross from the left was only half cleared and a Southampton forward netted from close range.
Saints held on to their slender lead until half-time but were pinned back at the start of the second half.
Bray hit the side netting before the Saints struck on the break to make it 2-0.
A late bullet shot made it 3-0 to the hosts and denied Swindon a place in the third round.
Swindon Primary Schools B team extended their unbeaten run to four matches with a 1-1 draw with South Birmingham.
Swindon went ahead early in the second half when Dandy's free-kick was headed into the path of Cole, and the Chiseldon pupil lashed the ball into the roof of the net.
South Birmingham equalised when Audritt was penalised for handball in the area and Wilkinson was powerless to stop the resulting penalty.
