A PORTUGUESE man has been banned from the road for two years and fined £150 after admitting drink driving.
Father-of-two Joaquim Peixoto, 34, who lives in Cavendish Square, Park North, was arrested after police spotted him driving erratically in Queens Drive on December 11.
Speaking through a translator on Monday Peixoto, who works at the Welcome Break motorway services, admitted driving while almost three times over the limit.
A breath test showed he had 90 microgrammes of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath. The legal limit is 35 microgrammes.
