NATURE lovers are invited to explore the rich habitat of Whelford Pools near Fairford on Sunday.
Between 10am and 1pm, Sarah Mason of Gloucestershire Wildlife Trust, will be helping visitors to examine the abundance of wildlife to be found at the pools, which form part of the Cotswold Water Park.
The area is home to large colonies of birds including the pochard, tufted duck, great crested grebe and coot.
Otters have also been spotted.
