Families will be learning together at a special event created to help parents and carers take part in the education of their children.
The family learning event, called We Can Do It, will take place on Saturday at St Paul's primary school in Chippenham, to encourage parents to support their children at school and to celebrate the significant role they play in their child's learning experiences.
Geert Winters, chair of the parent teachers association, said: "The culture of our school is to develop in our children a positive 'can do' attitude.
"Instead of just saying it, we are out to prove we can all do it and enjoy learning together."
After enjoying breakfast together, the families will find out about the important role played by parents and carers in educating their children and the way the shared experiences of the family can help their children as confident learners.
Families with children in reception and Key Stage 1 will be encouraged to create a family story together, sharing their memories and capturing them forever in a magical box.
Children in Key Stage 2 will work with their families to create a spectacular family shield showing what makes their family unique.
