WHITES boss Nick Holmes says Saturday's top of the table clash away at Histon has all the makings of being "a cracker," writes Mike Turner.
After witnessing his side's emphatic victory over Sittingbourne, which extended their unbeaten league run to 16 games, a delighted Holmes turned his thoughts to this weekend's crucial trip to Camb-ridgeshire to face another Dr Martens Eastern Divi-sion outfit whose fine season has already included an appearance in the First Round proper of the FA Cup.
"It's set up to be a cracker. They're a little bit different to the average side in this league," said the City manager.
"They're not a big, strong, physical team like so many others. They're a bit like ourselves - a team who like to play football. It should make for an interesting game."
The Sittingbourne success lifted Whites above Histon into third place, but Holmes will be without the services of influential pair Wayne Turk and Adam Wallace who are suspended for Saturday's match.
"They're two players you don't want to have missing from your side because of their grittiness and attitude," added Holmes. "It'll be a good test for us."
Kick off is at 3pm.
