CITY manager Nick Holmes was full of praise for his side after Satur-day's emphatic win.
Leading 2-0 at the break after dominating the first half, he revealed he had urged his players to turn in a "professional performance" in the second half.
"I thought they did that," he told Journal Sport. "We played some exciting stuff at times. I criticised a couple of them because I thought their passing wasn't what it could have been, and we should have had more than the three goals. But apart from that we were sharp, our movement was good and it made for an easier Saturday afternoon than some of them have been."
"It's never easy at half-time when you're 2-0 up. A 15-minute break is too long when things are going well. You just have to keep them on the boil. I asked them to keep that professional attitude and they did."
