SISTERS Hannah and Gemma Sawyer were the stars of Westbury Library's Christmas panto competition after notching up a perfect set of answers.
The girls, aged nine and six, teamed up to enter the contest.
In the run up to Christmas library staff decorated the children's section with a display depicting eight different pantomimes. The competition then asked youngsters to name as many of them as they could.
Hannah and Gemma beat 35 other entries, correctly spotting all the scenes, which included classics such as Cinderella and Goldilocks. Both girls received a fairy princess doll and £4 book tokens to mark their achievement.
Older sister Hannah collected the prizes for both of them on Saturday, as Gemma was ill and unable to attend.
While the winning pair demonstrated expert pantomime knowledge, staff also enjoyed sifting through some more unusual entries.
Library assistant Caroline Brook said: "We had a very good response including some funny answers. Somebody thought there was a panto called Hercules so they got a bit confused.
"The competition helped promote the library and we are always looking to get new members. We like them to start reading as young as possible."
