HOUSEHOLDS will be forced to tighten their belts after Wiltshire County Council announced plans to demand more cash from taxpayers.
A seven per cent council tax hike revealed in a draft budget this week is well above the national rate of inflation and will see taxpayers fork out an extra £55 over the coming year.
The budget plans will be discussed at a Cabinet meeting on Monday before a final draft is agreed and published on February 11.
