We would like to thank the players and officials of Westbury United and Corsham Town, along with the match officials, for their willingness to help out at our pink armbands afternoon in memory of Westbury supporter Charlotte Wakeham who died from cancer at the age of 8 in September 2003.
Thanks are also extended to the spectators who helped to contribute a terrific £330 pounds to Charlotte's Chance Of Life Fund. Fifty pounds of this was donated by the club. Most impressively we have learnt that people donated even though they did not come in to watch the football.
A special thank you is extended to Westbury shop Swags and Tails for kindly donating the pink material that we needed for the armbands once the need arose.
We extend the best wishes of everyone to Wendy Bryant and hope that she gets well soon.
A BOWN and M THORNHILL ,
Westbury United Football Club
