With reference to the plans for Trowbridge all I have seen so far has not filled me with confidence. The pictures show open windy spaces more suitable for large conurbations like Milton Keynes.
Trowbridge could be such a pretty intimate town which would suit what is left of the lovely old buildings, I see small squares leading one from the other with shops, cafe's, trees and in my dreams the odd fountain.
In fact, a place to live in not just to pass through, the charm of this part of Wiltshire is in its history and I think the town needs to reflect this,we need quality not just quantity.
