Ref. 28696-61Recruitment specialist Tara Heath is hoping to put her best feet forward and take a bite out of the Big Apple later this year by taking part in the New York marathon.
Tara, branch manager for Robert Half International, based at Windmill Hill Business Park, is currently in training for the 26 mile run, which takes place in November.
Said Tara, aged 29: "My main motivation for taking part in this run is to help raise money for the RHI charity, SPARKS, which is a children's charity.
"But in addition, I personally wanted to achieve something really significant in my 30th year."
Added Claire: "Currently I'm out in training at least two mornings a week, running for about an hour.
"And I'm just beginning to run in the evenings too.
"Although I don't expect to win the marathon, it'll just be fantastic to be able to prove I took part.
"Everyone here in the office think I'm mad but thinks it's great I'm doing it for such a great cause."
