Didcot Casuals went through to the last eight of the Charity Shield after their second win over Division Two opposition in successive weeks. This time Stanford-in-the-Vale succumbed
2-0 to goals from Tim Hammond and Eddie Yarker.
Jason Maynard found the net again for Hanney United in their Division Three game against Buckland but goals from Gary Bradbury (2), Michael Bowl (2), Alex Morgan and Ben Harrison moved Buckland into second place.
In Division Four, a 4-2 win over Blewbury Reserves moved Uffington United into third place. Gary Haines, Simon Williams, Darren Scrivens and an own goal made up the Uffington goal tally.
In Division Five, Coleshill Reserves inflicted only the second defeat of the season on Ardington & Lockinge Reserves. After going a goal behind to Jeff Crame, Coleshill stormed back into a 4-1 half-time lead through James Bye, Peter Soane, Martin Chivers and Liam Tucker. The leaders pulled it back with two goals from Tom Weekes but could not rescue a point.
