DRIVER Hire, which has an office in Ferndown, has expanded into Salisbury with the opening of an office in Blue Boar Row.

Driver Hire is a specialist driver supply agency, with a network of more than 100 franchised offices across the UK.

It supplies all types of professional drivers for goods vehicles and vans - from someone who can handle a 44 tonne artic, through to a transit.

If a business is short of a driver because of illness, holidays or other reasons, it can phone Driver Hire, which will do its best to find a suitable replacement from its pool of available drivers.

The man behind the move into Salisbury is the owner of Driver Hire's Bournemouth office, Lee Emms.

"What rapidly became apparent is that the area we were trying to service from Bournemouth was too big," said Mr Emms.

"Opening a Salisbury office brings us nearer to our clients and our drivers.

"It will enable us to develop and grow the business more effectively."

Driver Hire Salisbury is managed by Gillian Costello and Michael Watts.
