AMATEUR thespian Luke Swan's latest role is a bit of a come down after his last leading part.
Luke will be the rear end of the cow in the Pewsey Vale Amateur Dramatic Society's production of Jack and the Beanstalk.
In the PVADS production of the Wizard of Oz in October he played the Straw Man. The front end of the cow will be played by Maxine Ledger.
The pantomime runs every evening at the Bouverie Hall until Saturday when there is also a 2.30pm matinee .
Tickets are on sale in the box office at the hall (01672) 564458: from Andy Vowles 07919 948361 or Martin Clifton (01672) 810436. They cost £6 with a concession of £5 for some shows.
The show is produced by Andy Vowles and directed by Alec Clapperton.
Mr Vowles said the production had been overshadowed by the recent death of long time PVADS member Tony Amor. The final performance is being dedicated to Mr Amor and his family.
Kay Davies plays Jack and the dames are Nick Mitchell-Briggs, Paul Hornbogen and Mark Spanswick.
