EMILY Cooke has been named as winger for Eng-land women's forthcoming rugby's Six Nation campaign.
The Leaden Hall School sports teacher said she was "delighted" to return to the first team after injury ruled her out of last year's tournament.
Cooke has impressed head coach Geoff Richards during international trials and is in top form ahead of the opening game against Spain in Zaragoza on February 15.
Fully recovered from a catalogue of injuries, Emily is currently enjoying a rich vein of form for her club side Richmond having scored a quartet of tries and two hat-tricks recently.
She is also poised for a return to Twickenham after the WRFU confirmed that England's game with Ireland on March 6 will be staged at the home of the sport prior to England men's Six Nations clash with the Irish.
England completed the Grand Slam last year conceding just ten points in their five games.
Women's Six Nations fixtures: Spain (Zaragoza, Feb. 15); Scotland (Gala Shields RFC, Feb. 21); Ireland (Twickenham, March 6); Wales (The Stoop, March 20); France (Bourg-en-Bresse, March 27).
Former Salisbury player Richard Hill, who captained England in their match with the New Zealand Barbarians before Christmas, is among those players being tipped to replace World Cup winner skipper Martin Johnson who announced his retirement from the international scene last week.
