Swindon-based management systems provider IMSM recently hosted a special reception for a Chinese delegation visiting the town.
Michael Bright, IMSM managing director, said: "We opened an office in Harbin, a regional capital in northern China, and have been busy working with Chinese professionals on the introduction of International Quality Standards such as ISO9000 and ISO14000.
"It was therefore a great pleasure to welcome this delegation to England and have the opportunity to develop stronger relationships and discuss the possible
collaborative projects."
The Chinese delegation, representing the Heilongjiang province of northern
China, met local business leaders, brought together by Swindon's Chamber of Commerce.
"IMSM have seen their workload increase rapidly in this region demands for our services continues to grow as Chinese collaboration with British businesses expands," he added.
"It was a pleasure to welcome our Chinese visitors here and repay some of the hospitality that we have had when visiting Harbin and the Heilongjiang Province."
