A purpose built centre detailing Westbury's past and present is due to open this spring. Westbury Visitor Centre will be situated in the High Street and Westbury Heritage Society will sign a three-year lease on the property after building work has finished.
The centre will be packed with information on the town's history and will also act as a base for community schemes such as the 'Dig for History' archaeology project. It could house the town's Tourist Information Centre as well.
