Employers are being invited to a watch a short play which demonstrates how a business can make expensive mistakes when its employees lack essential skills in literacy or numeracy.
No Problem? will be performed by professional actors at Wiltshire College's Lackham training centre at Lacock, near Chippenham, on Tuesday.
The free one-hour event starts at 12.30pm. It has been organised by Focus Training and Wiltshire and Swindon Learning and Skills Council to encourage employers to register with the Free2Learn project so eligible employees can receive free training in literacy and/or numeracy skills.
"The play shows in an amusing and thought-provoking way how a business can suffer a costly and escalating crisis when staff lack the skills they need to do their job properly and safely," said Peter Crayford, Workplace Skills for Life Advisor with Free2Learn.
To become eligible for Free2Learn funding, employers have to register by calling 0845 751 2288 or emailing the project via its website at www.free2learn.org.
Free tickets to join the audience for No Problem? can be reserved by calling Gillian Day at Focus Training on (01249) 466830.
