ALTHOUGH we were on different sides of the political fence, I was surprised to hear of Sandie Webb's resignation as Wiltshire county councillor for Chippenham's Sheldon Division.

Her record as a local councillor (and former mayor of the town) is an example to everyone and she will be missed.

The Wiltshire County Council ward though called Sheldon Division includes three separate district and town wards, one of which is Redland which I represent on both councils.

I would like to let people in the area know that (until a new county councillor for Sheldon Division is elected) I am more than happy to work to try to deal with any queries or problems they may have that their Wiltshire county councillor would have been involved with.

My experience over the past five years as a local councillor, tenant and active representative on a local housing association has enabled me to assist many people in these areas.
