A MAN is believed to have been stabbed at a take-away in Faringdon Road yesterday.
Police and paramedics were called to the Pizza Go Go restaurant around 4.30pm.
Shocked passers-by saw a man lying on the floor inside with blood pouring from the side of his chest and left leg.
One man, a 30-year-old office worker who asked not to be named, said: "He was covered by a sheet.
"I couldn't believe the amount of blood. It was shocking, you don't expect to see that kind of thing on the way home from work."
The outlet was closed as police experts examined the scene, on the ground floor of a three-storey building.
Police were unavailable for comment as the Advertiser went to press.
