Wroughton are on their travels again this weekend when they visit Trowbridge Town in what could be their toughest assignment of the season so far, writes RAY BURROUGHS.
Manager Chris Pethick is looking forward to the challenge and is hoping his troops give a good account of themselves. He added: "We should be around full strength with the addition of new signing Mark Bennett from Pewsey Vale. If we work hard and make it difficult for them perhaps we can come away with a good result".
No doubt AFC Stratton boss Stef Kucynski will be hoping that the Wroughton boys can come up with a result and ease the pressure on the current league leaders.
Stratton visit Pewsey Vale and their manager will be hoping his side can put last week's Wilts Senior Cup defeat behind them and concentrate on picking up league points.
Cricklade Town have a few games in hand over a few of the clubs above them and three more points at Marlborough could seem them make ground on the leaders.
Chiseldon Castrol also face a stern test at Bradford, the home side are flying at present and their cup victory over league leaders Stratton last weekend have put them in good heart.
Castrol for their part have been going through a sticky patch and need to regroup and get some of their early season form back together.
Aldbourne who were crushed by Screwfix side Corsham in the Senior Cup last weekend visit Devizes Town and Pete Orsi's side could well get a result showing some of their early league form.
Malmesbury Vics have been making a steady improvement in their fortunes and could well nick a point or two at home to Westbury United.
Junior Division One Cricklade Town Reserves entertain leaders Trowbridge Town Reserves and could do the chasing pack a favour by halting the visitors' winning run.
Second-in-the-table Bromham are home to Wroughton Reserves and have to be favourites for the points well third place Wanborough United faces a stiff home fixture with Blunsdon United.
Wootton Bassett United, who have been steadily climbing the table have a couple of games in hand over leaders take on Ferndale Rodbourne who will be the first to admit that their recent form has been a bit patchy.
Junior Division Two leaders New College visit Clarendon and Tidworth and could face a battle against a full strength home side.
Trax are just two points behind the leaders after a useful run of results, they visit Pinehurst OB who will be no pushover.
Swindon Asians should collect the points against Westside Reserves and fourth in the table Minety visit neighbours Blunsdon United Reserves who are placed below them in the table.
