PARENTS, children and carers were invited to a unique family learning event at a primary school in Chippenham.
St Paul's Primary School opened its doors to pupils and their parents on Saturday and they were invited to create a family story together.
Groups either put their thoughts into making a magical box or designing a shield to depict what makes them the family they are.
The day was part of The Learning Tree, an LEA funded family learning project.
A spokesman for the school said: "Following the success of family learning events run by The Learning Tree at St Peter's School, the Parent Teacher Association at St Paul's are working with Learning Tree to present We Can Do It.
Families were told about the free family learning courses available in Chippenham, including Living and Working with the under eight year olds, which starts with an information session at St Paul's on March 2.
Chairman of the PTA Geert Winters said: "The culture of our school is to develop a positive 'can do' attitude.
"Instead of just saying it, we are out to prove we can all do it and enjoy learning together."
