THE Swindon branch of the Diabetes UK charity will hold its annual meeting on Tuesday, February 3.
This will be followed by a presentation on diabetes care in the town, given by specialist Dr Paul Price of the Great Western Hospital.
The branch has raised £4,000 during the past year, of which £3,000 will be given to the Diabetes UK Research Fund and the remainder to the Diabetes UK Children's Fund.
Branch secretary Matthew Spencer said: "Attendance is open to anyone with an interest in diabetes and its management.
"Admission is free it is not even necessary to be a member of the charity to come along.
"A range of information leaflets will also be available and refreshments will be served."
The meeting will begin at 7.30pm at the usual venue, the Broadgreen Centre in Salisbury Street in the town centre.
