Olly Barkley is refusing to contemplate an England call-up as he plots Beziers' downfall in the quarter-final of the Parker Pen Challenge Cup tonight (7.30pm).
Barkley has been tipped as a possible contender for Six Nations consideration by Sir Clive Woodward, after his brilliant form this season and injuries to Jonny Wilkinson and Sale's Charlie Hodsgon.
But the young fly-half said: "Bath comes first. It is fantastic that everyone is talking about it, but I have to be realistic.
"Both Jonny and Charlie are great players and it is a real shame that they are injured, but I need to concentrate on the task ahead with Bath."
Bath face a potentially tricky task in France tonight, Barkley adding: "Playing in France is a tremendous experience, and although we are expecting a warm welcome off the field, we know that when kick-off time comes the Beziers crowd will be extremely partisan.''
Bath: Balshaw, Higgins, Crockett, Maggs, Danielli, Barkley, Wood, Barnes, Humphreys, Bell, Borthwick, Grewcock, Gray, Lipman, Feaunati. Subs: Blake, Mears, Flatman, Malone, Scaysbrook, Fidler, Stevens.
