Highworth made a winning return to the Elms as a 3-1 victory over Pewsey Vale moved John Fisher's men into the Premier Division's top six.
It was Highworth's first home game since December 16 and goals from Richard Knox, Matt Jack and Pete Macklin completed a fine week for the Swindon side, bagging nine points out of nine.
Recent signings Adam Giles, Shaun Terry and Knox were all making their home debuts and the latter quickly endeared himself to the Elms faithful, shooting past Pewsey keeper Lee Wilson from 18 yards following a fine headed pass from Macklin.
Highworth doubled the lead on 26 minutes with a shot from Ian McSherry taking a wicked deflection off of Alan Blake, leaving top scorer Matt Jack to tap in his 13th goal of the campaign.
Pewsey's Barry Flippance spurned two simple chances in quick succession at the start of the second half before the hosts put the outcome beyond doubt on 67 minutes.
Man-of-the-match McSherry linked well with Saye to present Macklin the chance to shoot home from 10 yards.
Flippance atoned for his earlier misses with 19 minutes to go, firing home after the ball had fallen kindly for him off the referee.
Highworth remain nine points behind leaders Didcot, who were 5-1 winners against Chipping Norton, though Fisher's troops have two games in hand.
"We were very good in the first half, but awful in the second," said Fisher.
"We stopped playing and it could have been a nervy finish if Pewsey had taken a couple of their chances.
"But it's been a good week for us and we seem to be back on a roll."
Fairford striker Phil Corcoran enhanced his growing reputation with two goals in three minutes to see off high-flying Southall at Cinder Lane.
Corcoran, who is the subject of an approach from champions North Leigh, netted a quickfire brace midway through the second half before the second-placed visitors pulled one back to make the final score 2-1.
Maximum points consolidate Fairford's position in the top eight.
Wootton Bassett's Premier Division trip to Henley was postponed due to a waterlogged pitch.
Shrivenham enjoyed the biggest win of the day in Division One West, thrashing Middle Barton 8-0 away from home.
Alex Green set the tone with a first-half hat-trick and Jim Queenan and Liam Thompson made it five without reply by half-time.
Michael Silvanus and a Steve Winchcombe double kept Shrivenham in the title race.
"A classy first-half performance really killed the game as a contest," said manager Alan Dyton.
"Our last four performances have been excellent and this form has come at just the right time as our next three games are against the top three sides."
One of those encounters will be against leaders and local rivals Purton, who won 3-0 at Clanfield to stretch their advantage to nine points at the top of the table.
Lee Curtis and Tom Dingle put Alan Clark's men two up at the break and Curtis struck his second 10 minutes after the interval.
Purton and Shrivenham were also helped by results elsewhere, as second-placed Ardley lost 3-1 to fellow high-flyers Witney and Ross suffered a surprise 2-0 defeat at Winterbourne.
Elsewhere, Malmesbury Vics picked up a useful point at Kidlington, drawing 1-1, but Cirencester United were beaten 1-0 at Harrow Hill.
