SO, we are to have some more coffee/tea shops down town. Very nice.
However I am left wondering why we have Chinese, Indian, Thai, Malaysian, Peking, Italian and now Australian eating places, not to mention American burger outlets but why no Espanol?
I know a lot of people can do their own paella, but there is so much more, like gambas a la plancha, tuna, ensalada . . . I could go on.
Most of these dishes in Spain are dished up as tapas and are delicious.
Perhaps it's because the Spanish love their country so much that they don't fancy the cold, dismal UK and realise our streets are not paved with gold.
So many of us Brits still go to Spain and love the place. Is there anyone out there who could open an authentic Spanish eating establishment and I mean authentic?
I live in hope.
