Stratton Youth under 14s became the second title winners of the inaugural North Wilts & District Youth League season after beating Highworth Town 3-1 to claim the Division Two crown.
Following on from Stratton Juniors' triumph in the Under 15 Division, Stratton Youth's victory over their nearest rivals at Baunton Lane saw them stretch their 100 per cent record and collect some early silverware.
Stratton's goals were scored by Antony Cacchioli, Hallam Nash and Leigh Schvartz, with Jamie Gibbons scoring the consolation for Highworth.
With just one game left against bottom of the table Blunsdon Colts, Stratton Youth will expect to end the campaign with their perfect record intact.
Under 16
Shock result of the day saw Sherbourne Harriers, second from bottom of the league, defeat league leaders Liden Community 1-0.
The all-important goal was scored by Josh Betteridge in the second half.
Shaw A took advantage of Liden's slip to go joint top with a game in hand after a 5-0 win over Stratton Juniors 5-0 with Craig Dixon scoring twice and further goals from Bradley Clark, Rees Holgate and Simon Rumbold.
Under 15
The Subsidiary Cup got under way at the Under 15 age group.
In Group A it was honours even between Robins and Wootton Bassett Town.
Robins led 2-0 at the break but Bassett came storming back in the second half and scored three times through Dan Lewis, Danny Dhillon and Curtis Whaymand to lead 3-2 only to see Robins equalise in the dying seconds.
Scorers for Robins were Kieran Randall (2) and Stefan Sinclair.
In the same group, Liden Community had a comfortable 6-2 win at Ferndale Rodbourne.
In Group B Shaw got off to a winning start with a 2-0 victory away at Brunel Boys.
Under 14
Wroughton, having already defeated title chasing Westbrook, were at it again, this time damaging the title hopes of Stratton Juniors.
Stratton led 2-0 at one point but Wroughton staged a tremendous comeback to take the points thanks to a headed goal from Dan Pulham, a powerful Joe Shaw shot and a late winner from Khalid Naseem.
Two goals from Steve Green and one from Aarran Stevens were enough to give Ferndale Rodbourne all three points against Fairford who scored two in reply. This win lifted Ferndale above Fairford in the table.
Wootton Bassett Town got off to a great start in their game at Croft, Phil Tearle scoring two goals in the opening 10 minutes.
However, Ben Castillo scored for Croft midway through the first half.
Bassett created a number of good chances to increase their lead but were denied by the Croft keeper.
After the break it was a different game as Croft dominated the midfield.
Midway through the half Bassett keeper Sean Toomey saved a free-kick from the edge of the box but the ball fell to Josh Goldsworthy who turned well and tucked the ball in.
Man of the match Robert Warensjo then put Croft in front with a powerful lob.
Against the run of play Bassett found an equaliser when Phillip Forster headed home four minutes from time.
In the Subsidiary Cup Group C match, goals from Matt Hobbs, Guy Whinfrey and Andrew Grier gave Westbrook all three points in a 3-1 win at Eastville.
Shaw and Walcot Wanderers shared six goals in the Division Two Subsidiary Cup.
Matt Povey hit a brace for Shaw, with Pete Willis adding a third.
Under 13
The first round of games were played in the Subsidiary Cup.
Top scorers were Croft Juniors who hit 11 without reply in their Group A game at Wroughton.
In the other Group A match honours were even with Fairford from the Second Division drawing 1-1 with First Division leaders Highworth Juniors.
Robbie Hall scored for Highworth and George Tertois for Fairford.
In Group B a hat-trick from Jake Lloyd in a 4-0 win gave Eastville all three points in their match at Shrivenham & Watchfield.
In the other match in this Group, First Division Stratton Juniors were too strong for their Second Division opponents Ferndale Rodbourne, winning 4-2.
Chris Avery hit the two consolation goals for Ferndale.
Top game in Group C saw Westlea Wanderers and Brunel Boys share six goals, Westlea's goals coming from Stuart Hillis (2) and David Bray.
Back in the league, Wootton Bassett found their shooting boots at home against Devizes Town hitting eight without reply to move within a point of their opponents.
Andy Role led the way with a hat-trick, with Bassett's other goals coming from Craig Kelley, Callum Walsh, Ben Curtis, James Terry and Phil Barber.
Under 12
Division One leaders Amesbury Sports played Croft for the second consecutive week and Croft put up a much better performance. Having lost 10-0 in the cup the previous week, Croft reduced the deficit to 3-0 this time, conceding second-half goals to Callum Coker, Steven Holvey and Lloyd Barr.
Lydiard Youth kept in touch with the leaders courtesy of a hard fought 2-1 win at Malmesbury, Johan Trim scoring for Malmesbury.
Alex Green scored a hat-trick for Shaw in their 3-1 win at Wootton Bassett, Alfie Passingham scoring the consolation goal for Bassett, with all four goals coming in the second half.
Liden Community picked up their first points of the season with a 1-0 win against Ramsbury, courtesy of a Sam Mawson goal.
Top scorers in the division were Ferndale Rodbourne Pumas who move up into fourth place following their 8-2 home win over Fairford. James Trevers led the way with four goals, Jordan McGovern scored two and their were further goals for Daniel Drewitt and Gianluca Costabile.
In a classic cup quarter-final held over from last week, Old Town Colts completed the semi-final line up with a 5-4 win against Second Division Wroughton.
Old Town had Liam Butler (2), Sam McVeigh (2) and Christian Scott to thank for the goals in this win.
Stratton Juniors went back to the top of Division Two with a 2-0 home win over Stratton Youth.
Greenmeadow kept in touch with the leading pack after a 9-1 away win at Highworth Juniors.
Greenmeadow's scorers were Justin Bird (2), Tom Butcher (2), Paul Jeffries (2), Billy Blake, Ryan Merchant and Thomas Ruddock. Chris Brooks scored for Highworth.
A solitary strike from Stephen Hartman gave Shrivenham & Watchfield all three points against Swindon Badgers and in the other match in the division, Blunsdon Colts were 4-2 winners at Marlborough Youth. Matt Sweeney and Chris Walker put them two up before Marlborough pulled one back. Further goals from Kousaki Sasaki and Zach Ockwell secured the points for Blunsdon, although there was time for a Marlborough second.
Under 11
A hat-trick from Ryan Stanners plus a further goal from Chris Pocock were enough to see Brunel Boys safely into the Knockout Cup semi-final in an exciting 4-2 win over AFC Swindon. Brunel took the lead when Ryan Stanners headed home.
They went further ahead from a well-worked free kick which saw Stanners net again.
AFC Swindon then counter attacked down the right and a good early ball through saw Anthony Alcock connect to make it 2-1 at half time.
AFC Swindon came out in the second period and quickly found an equaliser with a good strike from Chris Akrill.
Brunel then broke at the other end. A deep run and early cross from Daniel Francom found Chris Pocock who struck the ball past the stranded keeper. AFC Swindon then pushed for the equaliser but were caught on the break by Stanners again to make the final score 4-2 to Brunel Boys.
The match between Stratton Juniors Gold and Ferndale Rodbourne Pumas saw some good defending by both teams and a Stratton penalty miss meant it was all level at half-time. After the break, Sam Jones broke away to score the opener for Ferndale. Stratton continued to press and were rewarded with an equaliser from Jake Atkins and then in the last seconds Jack Gray scored the winner.
Shaw are the third side to make it through to the semi-finals, winning 4-0 at Old Town United, Kane Lever with two, Edward Salsbury and Dominic Rekowski were the goalscorers.
Highworth Juniors closed the gap on North Division leaders Blunsdon Colts to five points following a 3-0 away win at Purton, Jack Ellis, James Best and China Collins scoring the Highworth goals.
Cricklade Youth had a good win against Stratton Youth, 8-1 the score in this game with Dean Uzzell (3), Tom Finney (2), Chris Dye, Dan Smith and Matthew Dobson the Cricklade scorers.
Ferndale Rodbourne Tigers closed in on the leaders thanks to a last minute winner at Wootton Bassett. Bassett had led 2-0 at one stage through Steve Edwards and Vince Tapster.
Croft Juniors march on at the top of the Central table thanks to an 8-0 win at Swindon Badgers.
Greenmeadow moved up into fourth spot with a 4-1 home win over Liden, goals coming courtesy of Jake Ferris, Ryan Richards, Ryan Jones and Ben Moore.
Under 10
Highworth Juniors kept on track for the North Division title with a 3-0 home win over Cirencester Juniors.
The visitors kept Highworth out until the second period, when goals from Joe Chapman (2) and Sam Farr gave Highworth the points.
The West Division game between the top two sides was postponed which allowed Abbey Meads to close in on the leaders thanks to a 7-0 win at Fairford.
An exciting game at Ramsbury saw 11 goals with the home side defeating neighbours Marlborough 7-4.
Ramsbury's goals came from Julian De Boer (2), Jamie Pickford (2), David Reynolds, Luke Keen and an own goal.
Wootton Bassett Town moved up into sixth place following their 3-0 win against Shaw, Daniel Jones, Greg Davies and Ryan Allen the Bassett scorers.
It was first versus second in the Central Division and honours were shared between Croft Juniors and Old Town United. These were the first league points of the season dropped by Croft, Eddie Herbert netting for Old Town.
Stratton Juniors went level on points with Old Town thanks to a 6-0 win at Penhill Allstars.
Goals from Jamie Howitt and Shaun James gave Ferndale Rodbourne Tigers a 2-1 win over Cirencester Juniors Colts.
Under 9
Cirencester Juniors march on at the top of the table following a comprehensive 10-0 win at Highworth Juniors. Jack Smith led the way with a hat-trick, Timmy Bond with two and one apiece for Dan Warriner, Thomas Jehu, Fraser Gardiner and Nathan Littler.
It was honours even in the match between Lydiard Youth B and Shrivenham & Watchfield, Joshua Passmore for Lydiard and Mani Roper scoring for Shrivenham. Stratton Youth moved level on points with Lydiard in third spot after a 6-2 win against Fairford. Jack Ayres hitting four and Michael Cannon two.
Wootton Bassett went back to the top of the West section after a 4-2 win over Marlborough. Nick Buckle scored two for Bassett, Harry Hazzard and Josh Sharma getting the other goals.
