Ref. 3436-27A SWINDON recruitment agency has teamed up with the British Olympic Association to help athletes find flexible work.
Blue Arrow in Milton Road will be working with official recruitment partners for Team GB and The Olympic and also with the Paralympic Employment Network (OPEN).
The agency will provide a much-needed bridge between sport and the corporate sector, helping athletes to continue their careers while focussing on their Olympic dreams.
The collaboration will see Blue Arrow forge close links with local athletes and OPEN member companies.
Kevin Mann, head of marketing, said: "Working with OPEN and the Olympic movement is a natural fit for Blue Arrow. It demonstrates our ongoing commitment to championing flexible work."
Athens is the venue for this summer's Olympics.
Swindon swimmer Jaime King, 27, has competed in the last three Olympic Games.
She welcomed the partnership, believing it's long overdue.
"It's great news and there's definitely demand for it," said Jamie, who retired from the sport last year after breaking several British records.
"Employers do not always understand the amount of training that is needed to reach the top."
