A Swindon children's cancer charity is kicking off its 20th year with a diverse series of fundraising events.
CALM, Children's Cancer and Leukaemia Movement, hopes to provide fun and entertainment while raising money.
On Friday, February 20, a bingo evening will be held at the Abbey Mead pub, in Elstree Way, followed by a 12-hour darts mara-thon, disco, raffle and sponsored chest wax the next day.
And on Sunday, February 22 a quiz night will be held at the pub.
The fundraising continues the following week when the Green-bridge Pub hosts a race night on February 28 at 7.30pm.
On Saturday, March 6, music lovers will be entertained by the Swindon Young Musicians Consort accompanied by the Immanuel Church Choir, at Immanuel Church, Upham Road, at 7pm.
CALM has been run by Swindon families for other Swindon families since 1984. The charity is currently helping 18 children in treatment for cancer or leukaemia.
CALM Chairman Don Mac-arthur said: "We are very grateful to all involved in helping us arrange this attractive programme of events."
